Pricing
Product/Tendering

Both sides of the tender.

Tender the whole project out to builders as the client, or price a tender with your supply chain as the builder, on one connected workflow, from issue to awarded head contract.

The same tender, both sides of the table.

Whether you're the client taking a project to market or the builder pricing it, tendering runs on one connected workflow, and it nests the whole way down: the tender you win becomes the packages you send to your own supply chain.

You're the client

Tender the whole project to builders.

Take the project to market as the client or their representative: prepare the tender, invite your builders, compare and level the bids, and award the head contract, all on one connected record.

01 · Prepare

Build the tender, issue to builders.

Assemble the whole-project tender in one pack: pull the scope from your library, set the trade-summary schedule every builder prices against, and attach the drawings, specs and conditions of tender. Issue it to your shortlisted builders in one action, all pricing the same lines.

Answer queries once, issue addenda.

Tender queries come in through the one package, answered once and visible to every invited builder. Change the scope mid-tender and issue a formal addendum, with acknowledgements tracked and the close date extended, so no builder prices off stale information.

03 · Compare & level

Level the bids, compare like-for-like.

Bids land against the one schedule. Where a builder excludes scope or prices it elsewhere, a plug normalises it so every bid covers the same works: submitted total, plugs applied, comparison total. The lowest conforming bid ranks first and is recommended, apples to apples, and defensible.

04 · Award

Award the head contract.

Award the winning bid and the head contract generates with parties, scope and value already filled, ready to review. Both sides e-sign in ClaimStack, and the executed value posts to your cost report as your committed head-contract cost. No re-keying into a new system.

You're the builder

Price the tender with your supply chain.

Receive the tender and price it the way you actually do: send the trade packages out to your supply chain, pull the quotes back, and submit one clean bid, the same tender workflow, one tier down.

05 · Price

Price the tender from your supply chain.

On the other side of the table, you're the builder. Break the project into trade packages, send each to your supply chain for pricing, and pull the quotes back against the one schedule. Your bid builds itself from real prices: what you let to your subcontractors, plus your own preliminaries and margin, adds to the number you submit.

06 · Submit

Build the bid in the wizard, submit once.

The submission wizard walks the whole bid: the pricing structure line by line, value-management options, contract departures and clarifications, then review and submit. Invite a teammate to price alongside you, and send one clean, comparable bid back to the client.

Common questions.

Can I use ClaimStack whether I’m the client or the builder?

Yes. It is one tender, two views. As the client you prepare the tender, invite builders, compare and level the bids and award the head contract. As the builder you price the same tender, send the packages to your supply chain, and submit. Same records, both sides of the table.

How do the bids come back comparable?

Every builder prices the one trade-summary schedule you issue, so the bids line up on the same lines. Where a builder excludes scope, a plug normalises it, and you compare submitted total, plugs applied and comparison total side by side. The lowest conforming bid is recommended.

Do builders see my estimate?

No. Builders price the schedule you issue; your pre-tender estimate and any provisional allowances stay internal to your side. The bids come back priced on the scope, not anchored to your number.

What happens when I award?

You approve the recommendation, the head contract generates from the winning bid with parties, scope and value pre-filled, both sides e-sign, and the value posts to your cost report as committed. Nothing is re-keyed.

As a builder, do I re-tender my subcontractors after I win?

No. The trade packages you priced the tender with are the same packages you run out to your supply chain, so the pricing you gathered flows straight into your commitments. It is the same tender workflow, one tier down.
