Frequently asked

Are subcontracts and consultant agreements handled differently?

No. Both run on the same unified from/to contract model, the label differs, the mechanics are identical. Contract sum and line items are entered once, and every claim, variation and payment is assessed against the same live position.

What’s the difference between direct-invoice and progress claims?

It’s a billing choice you make on the contract. Progress claims are assessed line by line against the contract position with a payment schedule issued back; direct-invoice contracts are billed straight against the contract. Either way the position stays live and flows into the forecast and cost report.

Can a submitted claim or variation be changed later?

Submitted financial records are permanent and read-only. Corrections are made as new revision records that reference the original, so the full audit trail is preserved, which is exactly what you need if a claim is ever adjudicated.
